Palarong Pambansa 2012 is formally opened.
Held at the Narciso
Ramos Sports Complex with President Benigno Noynoy Aquino Jr. as the guest of
honor and speaker games for the sports event the Palarong Pambansa 2012 is formally
opened.
The Opening Ceremonies is started with a parade from Maramba
Boulevard going to NRSCC while performances from the Festival dancers and Drum
and Bugle Corps are showcased to entertain expectors on the Grandstand.
Performances is temporarily stopped when the Parade arrives.The first to enter
the grandstand was the technical officials followed by the delegations from different
Regions.
After the parade the Program started with the welcome of The
Pangasinan Governor Amado Espino T. Jr followed by the Speech Of Pnoy, Oath of
Sportsmanship, and the Lighting of the torch. Performances is resumed after the
program. Deped Teachers are the last performers to perform at the opening
program.
Thousands are in attendance to witness the opening of the
biggest sports event in the country. Prominent people from government and
sports are also there to show their support. Mr. Peping Cojuanco chairman of
Philippine Olympic Committee, Mr. Ricardo Garcia chairman of Phillippine Sports
Commission, Ms. Riza Hontiveros of Akbayan,TESDA Secretary Emmanuel Villanueva,
Deped Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro and Former
Senator Mr. Ernesto Maceda are also showed their support while PBA Player Danny
Ildefonso light up the Palaro torch.

Palarong Pambansa 2012 hit the roof so to speak, as the
Palarong Pambansa 2012 reached the homestretched, the website has accumulated
1,715,719 hits from May 1leading to the first day of Palaro. Methinks Palarong
Pambansa 2012 has generated uber interest across, all demographics. Kudos to
all the men and women that poured theur blood and sweat to pedal this year’ s
games to be no.1.Gov. Amado Espino Jr. et all deserved commendations.
A Record Breaker Emerged @ the Palarong Pambansa 2012 Opening
A Record was broken at the first day of the Palarong
Pambansa 2012 at Lingayen , Pangasinan. The 7.15 m Record at 2012 Palarong
Pambansa of Paulo Martinez from STRAA was break by Julian Reem Fuentes of Region II –
CAVRAA with a record of 7.26 m, this makes him the first record breaker for the
Palarong Pambansa 2012.

Palarong Pambansa will launch its first ever TV Web Channel.
As a part of the Pangasinan Provincial Government under the
initiative of Gov. Amado Espino Jr. to
elevate the eminence of the Palaro 2012, Social Media Command Center is
created. SMCC will use the latest trends
in social media and technology to give the latest happenings and results
in the Palaro 2012.
PALARO 2012 TV is the official name of the channel and will air from 10:00 am to
2:00pm starting May 6 2012. The Web Channel will air three shows, EXPERIENCE
PANGASINAN – a magazine type show that will feature Pangasinan culture, foods,
products and local artists, PALARO2012: Inside the game which will showcase
trainings, preparations and behind the game stories of athletes, PALARO2012: Talk TV – a talk show that will
interview prominent personalities, record breaking athletes, and sports analyst
that will be on the entire palaro event. Live updates on the medal standing ,
game results and interesting stories
from games will also be seen in the said web channel.
